  General Notes:

His age is inconsistent:
1841, 20, not Surrey
1851, 40, L(?)uddy, Kent
1861, 50, Yalding, Kent
1871, 50, Yalding, Kent
1871 Death, 51

There is a strong liklihood that he was the youngest son of Charles Peacock and Martha Henty and was baptised at Edenbridge in 1825. This is 10k west of Yalding but less than a kilometre to the east of Lingfield home of the Heads and also birthplace of friend and neighbour Ann Corney (nee Rose). This would also fit with his marriage certificate (Father: Charles Peacock, Farmer - the Edenbridge Charles was an Ag Lab which is close enough. - and the second witness at the wedding "M. Peacock". At the 1843 wedding he is described as full age so if he was really only 18 that might explain the age and birthplace discrepancies.

  Chronology:

He worked as a Porter in 1841 and resided at High Street, Southwark. 4 (Seems to be living / working in huge draper's shop - recorded next to him is Caleb Corney who witnessed his marriage two years later and who was living next door to him in 1851. Charles and Sarah also witnessed Caleb's 1843 marriage)

He worked as a Haberdasher in 1851 and resided at 25 1/2 White Street, Southwark. 5 (with wife Sarah, Milliner, and next door to Caleb and Ann Corney and their son Charles who was very likely named for Charles Peacock)

He worked as a Hotel Porter in 1861 and resided at 7 Doncaster Road, Camberwell. 6 (with wife Sarah and Caleb Corney and his wife Ann)

He worked as a Hop Salesman in 1871 and resided at Denmark Lodge, Lambeth. 7 (with Sarah and sharing the dwelling with Caleb and Ann Corney)
