General Notes:
From the 1815 marriage record we know that Elizabeth Hubert's surname prior to the marriage was Head.
From the 1851 census we know that she was born in Lingfield, Surrey about 1797.
In Lingfield in 1841 there is a Charles Head, Innkeeper of the Star Inn, 65, with Jane Head, 30, and Eliza Head, 16. In 1844 a Charles Head, 70, Vintner, died in Lingfield. A will for Charles Head of the Star Inn was proved on 4th June 1844 and mentioned his three daughters, Elizabeth, Jane and Mary (after a mention of daughter Sarah Head).
It is likely that Charles Head married Sarah Fowler in 1795 at St Saviour, Southwark. His first son was born in 1795 with Sarah in about 1800, leaving plenty of time for Elizabeth in 1797.
Al of this points strongly to Elizabeth Hubert being the daughter of Charles Head of Lingfield.
(UPDATE Sep 2010 - Strongly supporting this theory is the Jane Head's will witnessed by Charles Head Lingfield and Elizabeth Hubert of Nine Elms, Surrey)

Elizabeth married James George Hubert, son of James Hubert and Ann Hopkins, on 22 Apr 1815 in St Mary, Battersea.1 (James George Hubert was born on 4 Feb 1794 in Battersea, Surrey 11 12, christened on 20 Feb 1794 in St Mary, Battersea,13 died on 11 Dec 1874 in 4 New St, Ipswich 14 15 and was buried on 19 Dec 1874 in Ipswich, Suffolk 16.)
